Here Comes a Rooster

Here is a surprising animal portrait!

I like to paint pets  - mostly dogs, but once in a while I want to quick paint a different kind of animal. I don't know why I chose to paint a red rooster, it could be Alice in Chains or Willie Dixon's influence, but I always thought the this animal is impressive. Fierce, tough, and red!

Check out the painting, I think it is pretty cool!

Check it out as a home decor...

Powerful! Isn't it ? :)

I really like the vibrant and bold colors on this painting.
You can find this piece on Shirts, Cell cases, posters and more... on my Digital Painting Shop.

Thanks for visiting, stay tuned for more surprising designs:)

Illustration of a Modern Classic Family Car - Peugeot 404

Hi there!

Here is the next illustration from the series " Popular Common Cars of the 70s - The Peugeot 404!

When I was a kid, I just loved this car, it seemed so royal and beautiful to me, the design was extraordinary, and you could spot this car miles away. It was really unique, especially for a mid-low price range car.

Here is the illustration :

I love the French flag colors behind, too :)

Here is the illustration on a Tshirt,

Cool huh? You can get the illustration on other products as well on my Digital Art Shop.

Stay tuned for the last illustration, it's going to be a surprising one!

Illustration of a Modern Classic Mini Car - Fiat 127

Hi there

Get ready for our next common popular car of the 70s. This one was a legendary mini car - the Fiat 127!

This one was my personal favorite as a kid, my uncle had one, and I couldn't wait to drive it, too bad I was 7 years old :) Back in the mid/late 80s those cars disappeared from the streets, I guess they had some mechanical issues and couldn't survive for a long time.

Anyway I created an illustration of this super cute car, check it out:

Here is this cutie on a Tshirt

Cool huh? You can find this "Macchina Italiana" on my Digital Art shop and purchase your own product :)

Until the next car, have a wonderful day!

Super Snazzy 70s Subaru DL Coupe - Illustration

Hi there,

Are you ready for the 3rd car? Subaru DL (Leone). This one was very popular in the 70s, it was a reliable car at affordable price. But in retrospective, I think it was a great car with a cool slick design. Just look at it... it has some resemblance to the Ford Mustang or other american cars from that era. Back in the 80s people were laughing at the Subaru DL, said that its for the middle-low class, the simple blue collar people, they even considered its drivers as "brats" or "hooligans" - but it was just a stereotype.

Therefore as a tribute I created this illustration of this iconic popular machine. I really think that it is a beautiful car!

As always you can purchase it on my Online Digital Art Shop

You can find it on shirts, mobile cases and more. Here it is as a framed art:

Cool isn't it? :) You can purchase the illustration here.

Until the next time! Have a wonderful day :)

Iconic Ford Escort From the 70s - Illustration

Hi there,

Are you ready for the second post on the common popular cars of the 70s?

This car was one of my personal favorites as a kid, I always admired its shape and design. It was very popular in the 70s and the 80s, but the design has changed. Ford has changed the grille and it lost its charm (to my opinion).

This illustration, includes the American flag behind, one can notice that the stars on the flag pop like bubbles on a Coca Cola drink (another American icon).

Soooo here it is :

You can get this design on my Redbubble shop, check it out!

Here is this iconic piece of machine as a framed art

It was a real treat to pay a tribute to this legendary car!

Stay tuned for more car illustrations...and you are welcome to visit my Digital Art shop on Redbubble and on Zazzle (Click Here) to find more original cool designs.

Popular common cars of the 1970s VW Beetle

Hi there,

Today I'm going to show you the first illustration of a small project that I call, "popular common cars of the 70s".

I wanted to pay a tribute to the common popular cars, that were all around in the 70s. Those unnoticed low middle class cars, that nobody considered attractive or special. Back in those days you could recognize a car in a blink of an eye. I illustrated 6 different cars, that I really liked as a kid, maybe its not the very first pick for some people, but for me they were some kind of an icon.

Are you ready for the first one?

Here it is the Volkswagen Beetle!

This particular illustration looks great as a poster or on a Tshirt

Check it out

Too Old to Rock n Roll, and Too Young to Die

The other day I was taking a long walk with my dog, listening to the radio. It was a good-old classic rock program, with some gems. But the song that caught my attention was Jethro Tull's "Too old to rock n roll, too young to die". This phrase made me think about myself - I am to old to party all night, yet still young enough... stuck in the middle in a way :)

This phrase made me reflect and think. I thought I could create a cool design that will honor the phrase, and its meaning.

The phrase was designed in retro style, which makes us feel like in an old rock bar. I wanted to pay a  respect to those decades. The letters blend with the guitar, and complete it.

You can purchase this design on my Redbubble shop, you can hang it on the wall, wear it, or carry it as a smartphone cover.

I definitely will create more classic rock designs, I'm sure that many songs and phrases that move me will touch others too...

Oh wait... here is the song that inspired me :

Have a wonderful day!

Johann Sebastian Bach - Pop Art

Hi there!

Have you heard about Johann Sebastian Fabulous? No? Well... you're going to meet him immediately :)

I just wanted to create an unusual Pop Art portrait of someone, who is not considered as a popular culture icon. And I thought that Johann Sebastian Bach, would fit perfectly for my little project. I mean... his wig and appearance is so epic, I wanted to make it even more fun.

First, I sketched his portrait quickly with Sketchbook - just to have something to work with.
Here is the rough quick sketch :

I kind of liked it, but I was focused on my goal.
I took this sketch and used Adobe Illustrator to vector it, tweak it a little and to color it like a human peacock.

After my treatment he has got California tan, and colorful feathers. Now he looked like a complete funky Diva :)

Check it out :

Isn't he super fabulous? :)

Look how good he looks on a pillow!

You can find this Pop Art portrait on many products (including Tshirts, posters, cell cases and more) on my Redbubble Store and on Zazzle.

Chem them out I'm sure you'll love them!

Have a colorful day!

Waiting in Vain - Digital Painting

Hi there!

Recently I purchased the new Sketchbook pro 7, it's a painting/sketching software, very intuitive and powerful. I doodled some stuff during the week, and then decided to do a digital painting with it.

I planned to paint a scene from a theater play, that I saw in an old photo. I wanted to create a bitter sweet romantic atmosphere, and yet minimalistic.

I called the painting - Waiting in Vain

If you like this painting, you can find the print on my Redbubble Store

I have a lot of beautiful exciting stuff waiting for you! Stay tuned, and have a great day :)

Blonde Ambition - Illustration

Hi there!

I never was a big fun of Adobe Illustrator. I tried it once but it was too illogical :P. Lately, after a long time of digital painting with Photoshop, I decided to give it another try. I was more careful, and studied only the essentials, that were needed for digital painting, and vector art. Luckily, I'm getting the hang of it, and now, it is easier for me to explore this software.

Here is a pop art illustration of a beautiful Nordic blonde, that I've created with Illustrator. I like it a lot, and it is already available at my Redbubble online store!

Take a look :

I already created more exciting illustration and I will post them later on, stay tuned!

I Am Just a Cow!

Here is another quick fun loose painted doodle, that I created for my own relaxation and enjoyment :)
I deliberately kept all the loose lines and the blue uneven colors, I wanted to keep the graffiti/urban feel on this one.

It also looks great on shirts, pillows and many other products.

Here is a tote bag for urban cow lovers

More loose sketches are coming! Have a great day people :)

Red Bull - A Doodle on Steroids

Here is another doodle that I've created recently, it was so powerful and was the logo of my favorite childhood basket ball team :)

I've doodled a bull, an angry muscular one... and I thought : this one deserves  more tlc, I had bigger plans for this one...

Don't get me wrong, I like the doodle very much, it is so powerful and clean, but I thought it had more potential.

So I tried to color it in many ways, tried various backgrounds and textures, and finally I found a magical combination. Check it out

I never thought of it, while I was painting the piece, but It reminds me the Chicago Bulls mascot, in the good old times - the Jordan era :)

Check out this Bad Boy on a T Shirt and a Tote Bag - very cool, isn't it ;)

If you like this piece and would like to see more of my art (or even purchase:)) - check out my online stores at RedBubble and at Zazzle
