Walking with Camels

On my last post I mentioned a car that was so cheap, and had a weird combination of materials. So weird... some say that camels love to eat the car's body, but I guess it was just an urban legend.

While I was thinking about that urban legend I felt an urge to paint some camels.

It started as a rough sketch, and decided to paint it a little. I left the piece as is, some of it still sketched and most of it painted, I liked like that.

Check out my recent camel art :) I really love the background and the warm sand colors.

Here is the piece framed, it looks very cool, isn't it?

You can get this piece on my Online Digital Art Shop, check it out!

Popular Common Cars of the 70s - Israeli Sussita

Israeli Sussita, was a cheap and ugly car that was the pride of the local car industry in the 60s. It was made from fiberglass (and wood floor at the first models), and was as reliable as flat tire.

However... it was the first Israeli car, and it was kind of a big deal back then. You could find it almost everywhere - it was very cheap, and it was the ideal deal for the working class, for many small businesses/ industry.

The car was just a mishmash of random car parts from ford (England) and other manufacturers, it was an odd box shaped car, its nick name was "The Cube".

You can't see those car anymore on the streets, but once in a while one can stumble upon a "Cube", the encounter will surly bring some nostalgic sentiment, and yearning for simpler, and naive times.

Here is my version of the "Cube"

You can purchase this illustration on my Online Digital Art Shop.

Check it out on a shirt

It might be suitable only for die hard fans :) But hey! It is a piece of history (and kind of a jock).
