Gentle Giants - Line Art

Hi there,

Here is a fun little Line Art that I created using Sketchbook pro 7.

I don't know why, but I felt like drawing a Rhinoceros. It was a quick doodle that was inked again to look more like a tattoo. In front of the Rhino I thought that I have to place an opponent. A big, impressive and primitive creature like it. So, a Hippopotamus sounded like a good idea!
The background contains a tribal pattern that fitted quite well. It is a clean, simple and appealing image, I like it.

Take a look :

If you like the line art too... you can purchase it on my Digital Art Shop , enjoy!

An Inside Look - Speed Painting a Cocker Spaniel (Demo Clip)

Hi there!

Recently I decided to capture my work, using a screen capture program. I wanted to give you an inside look at my Digital Finger Painting technique. I use this technique while I am painting my Custom Pet Art on DigitalDogPortraits.com.

I've edited 6 hours of work to 4 min, it took some time but I finally did it. I must tell you that the most challenging task was to find a proper sound track (just kidding :) but yeah, it was exhausting)

So take a look. I hope you'd enjoy it,  I think it's pretty cool :)

Cat Tie - Veterinarians and Pet Shop Owners Check It Out!

Hi there!

Two weeks ago I've created a funny, grumpy cat illustration. It was originally created as a Tshirt design, but I've checked the design on a tie, and I just loved the result! I think it would be great for people who work with pets, like veterinarians, pet shop workers etc. Check it out!

Heart warming sketch

I'm on the roll with the sketches :) I find it very simple, just to grab a pencil and to doodle something, so much fun :)

I haven't sketched many animals, but when I do, I like to expose an emotion there.  I imagine the feelings and put them in the sketch. I never sketch from the imagination (It's too hard for me), but I try to put myself on the sketch, my thoughts and feeling, so even though that I sketch from an existing picture, I feel like I have created something completely different.

Take a look a the sketch, and the phrase that goes with it.

"I may not have everything I want in life, but I have all I will ever need to make my life complete, my family"

I just can feel the emotion in animals... they are so sincere and pure, and their love is genuine.

Until the next time, have a great day!
