I love to paint with watercolor, it is such a lively and dynamic medium. Sometimes the color blends in unexpected way, sometimes we can decorate the painting with some colorful dripping, and the final result is always impressive and surprising.
I wanted to do the same, but with a digital painting. I wanted to recreate the dripping and the blending effect, I thought it would look great. Using the traditional medium, it is more fun, because you can only control some of the process, however I recreated that feeling, though it was carefully planned, and I had a 100% control of the end result.
I wanted to paint something unsual, and intense. I started with a loose sketch, and it kind of built itself.
The dripping color and the blend are there to make a point (and to make the painting stand out).
If I may, I think it turned out to be very nice ;) I think that it will be a gorgeous addition to the living room, or the office.
